The Lair Of The Superterran
Welcome To My Lair

Hello, and welcome to my lair. I am the Superterran. This website gives you access to my projects — apps, games, texts, and my completed programs — plus some stuff I think might help people, and some stuff personal to me. I'm currently developing programs to make life easier for the common computer geek: a front-end to launch all your major apps (password protected), and an image viewer kind of like Windows Me's, but a lot better. This Week's Poll — Do you like Microsoft?

Since Microsoft has made the news, how much do you like it? I figure I'd see what the average joe uses.

(Last poll — favorite Tech Show: 60% Star Trek, 40% Screen Savers.)

From the Dev Log — June 2001

I decided to learn Flash today. Where the old, slow logo was, there's now a 6kb logo that looks pretty good (you're looking at it up there). I had a 10kb presentation that was really great — it looked kind of like the Matrix — but it wouldn't show the typing correctly. Great for my second movie, I think. When I learn more about Flash, you'll see.

Also: I ordered Windows XP Beta 2, so I can tell you what's coming in the system. I wrote a huge, thorough review of XP and MP3Pro — it's in the News section. Plus reviews of the Game Boy Advance, Xbox vs. GameCube, and the MP3 Pro codec. Happy surfing.

Museum note: this page is recovered from the Internet Archive's 2001 capture of superterran.tripod.com. The original daily dev-log and a "friends" section contained slurs and personal attacks and have been cut; the design, Flash intro, and the tech pages above are preserved as they were. — the superterran
